Common settings
These settings are the same for all supported sources.
| Setting | Description | Comments |
|---|---|---|
| Migration Destination | The root destination to migrate to. | Ensure to define the required destination as Migration Config. |
| Destination Rename Mode | Specifies what action to take if a file exists at the destination with the same name.
| |
| Maintain Folder Structure | If selected, the system creates subfolders in the migration destination to match the relative path in the source. | Applies if the source system supports this capability. For Exchange, the path also includes a folder for the mailbox name (e.g. \MigrationDestination\User@domain.com\Inbox\HR). |
| Delete Original Item | If selected, the system deletes the original item after it successfully copies the item to the destination. | Applies if the source system supports this capability. |
| Mark Original item as Read Only | If selected, the system marks the original item as read-only. | Applies if the source system supports this capability. |
| Redaction Plan | If you configured redaction plans, specify the redaction plan to apply to the document. See Redaction. | By default, the product applies this to the document at the destination. |
| Redact Original | If the source system supports updating the source item, checking this box applies the redaction plan to the source document after the product successfully migrates it. | This option isn't available when performing a move (deleting the original item). |
